How to upgrade from T-rex 4.5 to 4.6

Hi

I've heard that the vendor should upgrade your T-rex for free. I've contacted the guys I bought myne off and they claim to know nothing of this.

What's involved with upgrading the cam, surely it's just a firmware flash I could do via the a cas programmer. If so can i download the software. Or is it a hardware change?

Who els could possibly upgrade my cam for me if this guy refuses?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi yeahman,
it can't be done by you it has to be carried out by the manufacturers, it will not cost your suppliers anything as this upgrade was carried out free due to a compromise in the original design which allowed access to the secret keys.
The most your suppliers can charge you is cost of postage, but as I said a lot of reputable suppliers waived this cost, get back in touch with your suppliers and ask them to contact their suppliers as you want this free upgrade carried out, so that you can receive the PW package, otherwise the cam is not a supermodule and just an ordinary Dragon Cam.
