I have a sky plus 3100 with a single feed going into it. I recorded a show earlier today before i left the house and now i cant seem to find it? I thought i could still record with a single feed in as long as i didnt change the channel etc.... while it recorded.

I haven't tried using a box with only one input, but you may need to make sure that you leave the box on that particular channel, or at the least, a channel on the same polarity and band.
