Just noticed it tonight, signal strength gone from 85+ down to maybe 25-30 on some transponders ... A friend in Zurich reporting the same.

e.g. 10979 (MUTV / ESPN / BT SPORT 1)
e.g. 11156V (BT SPORT HD 1 / HD 2)

Was this expected? I was not expecting any of these channels to move to a weaker UK beam of any sort, and in any case I though 2E was not operating yet? ...

Wally.

Loads of stuff has been shifted as part of the Eutelsat "acquisition"

Check the last few pages of the Linked Thread and you'll find the current frequencies for BT Sport .............................

OK, so I get it now why transponders are being duplicated at the moment, but why are the originals on 1N going way down in power?

I think we will find they aint on 1N any longer - they are now on the 2F UK beam. The power of 10979 is almost the same as that of 10964 - the C5 tp.
