Day 2 with the new Freesat Foxsat HDR receiver and the wife is not liking the change from the easy to use Sky EPG and regrets every going online to buy it for me!

Anyway one thing that is annoying me is the fact that when pausing playback or live TV and even when listening to the radio stations after about 1 minute the humax logo starts bouncing around the screen slowly!

Is it possible to customise the screensaver that is displayed or even remove it completely so that the frozen image or the logo for the radio station remains on the screen, I cant exactly see that any image burn on the TV would occur thru pausing a recording to nip to the loo.

Is this an easy fix or does it involve getting my hands dirty in the linux code for the humax receiver?

Cheers
Chris.

How good are your linux skills ? ;)

Sorry to hear that you're not having a good experience with the HDR.

I have to say that the floating logo hasn't bothered me but I've been in to menus to see if it can be turned off. Sadly, it appears not.

Chris if you are a member of the DS forum contact user Bob_Cat - hes part of the Hummy development team and pops up every so often in their Freesat section.

I wouldn't say I'm having a bad experience its a great bit of kit just wanted to kill the screensaver :) Thanks for your help BTW.

Thanks, will put him a wish list together :)

Can I add my vote for a way to stop the Screen saver in Media Player? I'd like the option to have the music be played just quietly displayed statically on the screen. I can turn the screen off it I want. Its good to have the description, but not jumping around!
