Sort of live ...
You can set the Humax in record mode ..
Wait about 5 minutes to build a buffer space ..then stream the file you are creating ..
So accessing the file 5 minutes (delayed) after creation ..and presumably this is ongoing ...but occasionally stops requiring a restart of the stream..

There's a new update to the firmware, v4.1.0 out yesterday, that allows connection/playing from a NAS, and if you have installed the HD de-cryption patch, it won't affect it when you update, take a look over on AVForums for more info.
Personally, I have my old 320GB drive attached by usb until I have it all watched and deleted, then it will be used either for pc backup or occasional archiving from the HDR.
This machine just gets better with time and hard working individuals who like to tinker with software (a lot, apparently).

Now Updated my HDR to 4.1.0


Mind you, I've not installed the NAS Plug-in yet.


Will wait until I have a perceived need.
