Humax Foxsat problem?

Tonight my Foxsat HD receiver has started to play up (tried it on another TV so I know it's not the TV). Signal strength etc is fine, tried re-booting.

What is happening is that it intermittently greys out the screen and fills the screen with horizontal bands (can still see the picture behind). Sometimes it's little more than a flicker, sometimes it lasts for minutes. Any ideas? Is my box goosed?
 
Hi Dave, Doesn't sound too good. Have you tried doing a full factory reset on the box and re-installing.
 
Switched unit off for 5 min. Switched back on, factory reset, re-scanned stations etc. No joy.
 
When I had the fault with my HDR the evening after the upgarde, brief switching off didn't seem to affect it, It was only when I left it unplugged for several hours that it cured itself - at least so far (touch wood),
