humax freesat problems !!!!!

please be patient as i am new on here .

i have just got a humax freesat foxsat 320 hdr box .

i used to have sky + with multi room.

i have plugged in the to lnb leads to freesat and now have a normal tv coax left over which used to be in rf out to bedroom with magic eye.

my problem is , i have a tv link plus box , as i think this is what i needed.

do i just change the the tv connector to a lnb type connector and put this into the lnb output, plug in tv link plus , then plug into magic eye and off i go ??????

but the more i read the more i get confused.:confused:

can anyone please please as the missus is chewing my ba##s big time as she likes to watch cougar town in bed .

The sky box had a tv or rf out. I don't think that the humax freesat does. To send the signal to another room you'd need a modulator, that feeds from scart and converts to tv rf.

To control it you also need a more advance magic eye kit that has an emitter to control the box.

All that could be not worth it, depending on how many rooms it would be easier to buy more freesat boxes and run new feeds from the dish. You can also use your sky box as a freesat receiver
