Hi guys I wonder if someone has an answer to my problem, I just turned the tv on and my freesat hdr box is showing a green screen.I changed the HDMI cable still the same, then I put a scart cable from the freesat to my tv and turned to the av channel of the scart cable and the picture came on. I think there's a problem with my HDMI socket on the back, can anybody give me any ideas. :confused

Firstly, did it work over the HDMI before? Is it showing a green screen on all channels or just the BBC HD channel? What TV are you feeding? What HD signal will it accept - 720p and/or 1080i? Have you changed the TV input to the correct HDMI socket?

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

As it is a Humax, it most likely needs powering down from the mains.

Yes it did work before on HDMI, and it is the same on all channels, I have checked it on two TV's (Sony 37"/Pioneer 42") still the same. I have checked all what both of you have said. I have done a factory reset and a power down, it's still the same. I'm going to turn it off till tomorrow and check it then, Thanks both of you for your suggestions, I'll keep you informed thanks again

Good to hear it is now working as per specification.

(and I forgot to suggest swapping over the HDMI cable ends, just in case it was a poor connection issue at one end only).
