Hi

I tried it on few satellites on my system. I cannot add new channels from already existing transponders. Strong signal is present, manual scan goes through but search does not bring the new channels which i knew they are there. I cannot even add new radio channels to the existing transponder where i had installed only FTA TVs from. Is the channel list uploaded from the usb be the hindering further additions ?

I need advise if anyone with had same problem. At this stage i am looking for a quick fix rather than re start the STB. I had put so much effort editing 6 satellites on it.
This list is saved in usb , but i am thinking even if i do a factory reset installing same file back on will not be a short cut.

Fortec is updated with loader 1.5 and s/w version1.30. I went through the manual twice to no avail. Any ideas please?

Thanks

It's possible your channel database may be full. Try deleting some unused ones.

Thank you, I tried that although i only had 400 in total. Didint make difference. I dont know what made me to this but i just RE-installed latest firmware. All ok now. My bbc red button streams are on and all working ;)

Makes you wonder what makes a firmware go corrupt by usage !!!!. Fortec not very stable. So re install of firmware is a way of weird behaviour. Back up your channel list as always

Yes, sometimes the memory can get filled up with garbage, and as you have found out, a clean install can work wonders.
