I'm sure I've seen this before as a 'fly on the helmet' style webcam! Hell, why wouldn't ya? You've been a stock market trader and fuxxxd the economy ; you've driven your BM blindfold at 120 mph round the M25; wotcha goin' ta do next?

Well I'm not going to the El Camino Del Rey walk. 20 years ago I would climb a 10m extension ladder with no fear, just the odd gasp when it was windy. Suddenly I lost my nerve. Doc said its called common sense survival. One of the joys of getting old is you get a bit wiser.

Well the hike looks to be one of the hairiest I've ever seen, but my hats off to those that built the trail.....

Hairiest one we've walked is the Mont Rebei gorge separating Catalunya and Aragon. The path is in good nick, but the vertigo from the height and the narrowness of the walls made it exhilarating to say the least.

Just read on Wackypedia that restoration (repair) was due to begin on the path in June this year. Sort of takes all the fun out of it......

(Say he who gets vertigo standing on a thick pile carpet)

Made my heart rate go up just WATCHING it.

The next clip up is "CAMINITO DEL REY ACCIDENTE". I don't need to read Spanish to understand that!

Well......that cured my constipation :-)

Thankyou CH .................... had to dash out for Tyres yesterday, hence the paucity of info.

It was a great day as there were very few other walkers, but a great many Vultures (Lammergeiers, IIRC).
