Hi, I have just had an Arisat Ar 500+ receiver come into my posession. According to the box it is able to be upgraded via the internet, but in their infinite wisdom is says nowhere on the box or in the manual where to find such software. I have three questions which i would appreciate help with.

1. where do i find the software?
2. Is it a clone of another system?
3. How, when i find the software do i download it to the receiver.

It is impossible to update a software for me, I do all on instructions but a computer and a receiver do not conection
Who can help to find the reason ?
 
It could be one of many things but as you seem unwilling to even tell us what the stb is how can anyone help???? :-DOH!

Lets all have a guess at this...

My guess is that you are connecting with the wrong type of cable.

Whatever the problem is we need more information :rolleyes:

Live link was removed and the site had a trojan inbedded. Removed the link.

No live links are allowed and absolutely not links to trojans
 
It is impossible to connect a receiver to a computer, I have tried many variants of connections of a cable
2-2 2-3
3-3 3-2
5-5 not conect 5-5 not conect

I till now could not update a software on Arisat, can eat what that a secret? It is impossible to establish connection on many devices in the same way
Such problem not only at me, I asked colleagues too .Who itself personally updated software on Arisat, prompt as? All that I am written to instructions all have made

Can someone help me with latest software for thunderbolt receiver with auto update.
