My dishes are dancing ...and a sudden cloud burst dropped at least an inch of rain in 10 minutes..
Work over and shop closed till after the new year..
My hatches are suitably battened ...and fingers crossed my slate roof holds up..

Cold front associated with that low pressure passing us right now.
Some wind, yes, but <20m sec in the bursts.

Nevertheless, I went out and tightened the bolts on the Gib125, as I heard something akin to a badly lubricated metal-hing a little while ago through the bedroom window. It just then occurred to me that I'd left the bolts only tightened enough to swing the dish left and right. :eek:
On with the clothes again, and out into the night with a ratchet wrench...

Gib125 is now firmly fixed to the mount, and I am only slightly damp and cold :)
 
Miserably wet & soggy here today. Not particularly windy, I think we were spared the worst of that.
 
Ditto, apart from our Garden Bench going walkies yesterday afternoon.
