My Satellite Setup
T 90
3 LNb's 1 for hotbird, 1 for Astra 2 and 1 for astra 1.
Humax Viace for swiss channels
All other FTA on Astra 2
My Location
Switzerland
What is skystar? I keep reading about it but don't know what it is, I have tried googling, but that hasn't help, except to redirect me to a turkish site that I didn't understand.

skystar is a sort of tv card that is inserted into a motherboard like a soundcard etc to recieve satellite on your pc...Theres a skystar 1 and a skystar 2 as far as i know dunno if they made anymore because i sorta lost interest in them....will have to let the more experienced folks inform ya..

Still available; Skystar1 has a common interface slot so that a conditional access module (CAM) can be used to allow viewing of encrypted channels by inserting the correct viewing card. Skystar2 is a cheaper version without the CI slot and suitable for free-to-air only. There is also a Skystar HD
