Well ...now I have..

and here's how

Due to it being Mpeg4 and extreme LSR and 8PSK..
Scanning this by inputting details was useless ..
As was blind scanning ..even with the smallest steps ..
So I used a previously scanned but now vacated slot ..already stored in the channel list..
This is why it will appear in the photo as 'Digital 1' ..which used to be a music channel on 4117

So instead of trying to input this channel data ..I edited Digital 1 to the correct frequency ...and edited again to change the symbol rate to 1200

With me so far ..
The F15 then tried to lock this hybrid channel ...but of course could not ..as all the PIDS and modulation type were all wrong ..
But signal level was now hovering around 6.5 db...
So I then went to the PID scan menu and forced the hybrid channel to rescan the PIDS ..
it took 6 attempts ..but eventually ..the red bar turned green ..and it went for it.
Now I have only to edit the chanel name from Digital 1 to Dunamis ..and we're done ..
Here is the proof it worked..

I suspect the increase in dish size helped ...but it might work for you..?

..I left the F15 locked solid on this channel when I went to bed last night ..
Unlocked at 5db this morning ..
So I'm assuming a 6db unlocked level minimium is needed before the tuner will even recognise the signal ..even though the channel details are already stored.
This is true of many 8psk channels for me
6 to 6.5 db on the F15 scale ..appears to be the critical lock level.
Roughly translated for Pride ..this I think equates to 60-65 %
I'm assuming this channel is ver much Time of Day .
..so will try again this evening.

For the benefit of anyone thinking of having a go at locking this channel..
It just went into fragment lock ...approx 5:20 pm UK time ..
Signal is still weak but should begin to climb over the next few hours ..
it was approx 11:30 pm last night when I attempted to lock it and was successful as you know.
Don't be impatient and wait for the slow build up of signal which is why I used a hybrid channel already stored ..
Its then just a waiting game ..

Coincidence or functionality..
At the moment I'm undecided ..but here's what just happened ..
I left Dunamis locked with a picture ..
Went downstairs to Christina and pulled her third wing off ..to do some work on it ..
applied some body filler and left to cure ..
went back upstairs to check ..
No picture at all ..and no attempt at lock ..
The signal level had dropped from 6.2 db unlocked -7.6 locked...to 4.7db and no hope of a lock..??
Thats just removing 1 wing ..
I'm inclined to think ...these wings (at least some of them anyway) are quite efficient and are close to focus..but then ..I'm biased and want to believe this .

Dunamis is currently 9db++ solid locked so If you are planning to log this channel in ..or at least try for it ..

been watching this transponder on and off for the last two hours ---
getting occasional very brief lock -- but not long enough for the receiver to pick it up :mad:
if the clouds would clear i might get it -- very frustrating --

Hi VS just scanned this channel a few momments ago its gone up in quality it hovers around 64% but when it reaches 65% it locks then drops out,its a bit drizzerly out at the momment may be better when it clears,at least the signal looks promising.cheers

hi VS had a go at Dunamis locked at about 65% quality so did transponder scan,evangel television came up the channel is 4027L 1200.Apid 0512,Apid 4112,Ppid 0512,could you check to see if its the same channel as Dunamis.cheers
