Image 26th of July + CCcam breakthrough

Just thought I'd let you know that the latest image is on my box, and I am connected to my Dreambox using some sort of CCam/incubus hybrid and it is working just fine. Much better that the previous attempts. Don't know if it works also as a server, but surely that will come.

I have been hearing about this update - very glad it turned out positive.


To get the image go to the _qboxhd.com website, for the cccam plugin google for QBOXHD Emu manager plugin(cccam) by DVB Busters

It seems the scanning is faster, and it fairly stable. Unfortunately sill a lot of features don't work.

The Youtube player works fine, been watching Music videos all afternoon.

They have added an YouPorn player, but haven't tried that out yet.

It is client only at the moment, and only supports 1 C: line.

Lol I think there is anybody in this universe that does not need to learn about the QBOX, that includes the Duolabs people

I have to say though, that since the last update and the cccam thing working I had a feeling for the first time since receiving it, that this is a functioning sat receiver. This weekend I really had some fun, I even started to sort out the channel list and favourites, something I did not bother with before.

I just wish someone would sort out the softcam so I can watch all the digi TV sports channels on 1 west.

Hi TG,

New here. I have a Linux server running CCcam, and have several boxes connected.

I have a friend that just bought a QboxHD. He asked me if i could help connecting to my server. I have never seen a QboxHD in my life. I checked the files in the new emu-manager. Looks very much like the Incubus conf file from IPbox910HD.

However, I am a little confused, and was wondering if you can explain me something. As far as I understand it the radar file is the major file. I edited it. Deleted the N lines and added following line:

C: server.domain.com 12000 name pass yes yes

In the same /var/etc directory is the rqcamd.conf file. Do I need to edit something there? I could change the value for card reader to server, but since onle newcs is mentioned in this file, and he fact that I read on the internet that radar.cfg is the only file that matters.... not sure.

So I wonder if you could give me some advice here. Looking forward to hear from you (or anybody else that can contribute on this topic).
