My Satellite Setup
1M Dish with Motek 2100,
DM 500 & DM 800HD, Vu+ Duo,
Digital+, Sky+, TDT, Saorview
My Location
Dublin
Just bought an 800HD to replace a 500 clone.

Guy in shop put Gemini and CCcam 2.0.1 on the box.

Brought home turned on and I have a black (Space Universe) screen that just says "PLEASE WAIT" and will not change. I have tried restarting several times. Is there a problem and if so how do I fix it ? Can still use the menu.
 
You will have to configure the network through the setup pages. Also, the new Sly card only works with CCcam 2.1.3, not with 2.0.1. If you are sharing then CCcam has to be set up. There is not enough info here:
1. Have you tried putting it on a FTA channel? What happens.
2. Have you tried changing to any other channel?
