Flashed my 800 this afternoon with this new image.
Very stable so far, no problems at all as yet.
Image is generally pretty fast.
External EPG list has many entries. Unfortunately most of them fail. 'Sorry, No Connection'
The one I always use was not in the list so I added it. Satmate SlyUK. It works fine.
Satmate slyIT was in the list, that worked too.
The default skin was not to my taste with the extra info bar at the top. I downloaded and changed to Black shadow 2. Much better I think.

The addons panel is fully loaded, including all emu's, several skins , and a good range of picon installers and loads of other stuff.
Other than this, to the end user, the image is basically Nabilosat Blackhole v0.12. It may be faster perhaps and possibly even more stable, only time will tell.

It's fast , looks nice and has loads of addons, but I'll be leaving BH0.12 on my 8000 for now.

:-ohcrapThe image has the following problems on DM800 which is not on the DM500S HD:
1. It works fine after installing the image. However, if you do a software/extension update all extended functionality is lost, including all installed extensions; e.g. CCcam. You are back to a vanilla DreamMultimedia image.
2. The versions of Rytec's EPG is old and refers to the wrong website, which is why you get connection failed. This was the reason I immediately did a software update.
 
There is an update in the addons for the epg list or you can update it yourself, all the info is in the EPG section on dream elite board.

Again the software update should not be used as this destroys your image, the decision was made to leave the software update option because without it you miss out on other functions.

Hi guys, just updated to the dream elite image on my dm800 (have being waiting for a patched image for Bl69). Its great. Has card reader support and my remote control works from a distance. Toook only a few minutes to load it with B16MCC latest bouquets and setup CCCAM. I'm left with one problem. Where is the EPG setup. On Nabilo 0.12 you press the blue button twice and get to setup the EPG from here. There is no EPG option in this panel on the Dream Elite image. Can someone guide me through how to setup Satmate or simply how to access the EPG setup option. Thanks
 
Ignore, my impatience. Its available under blue button, then red button on remote. Took only a couple of minutes to set up Satmate UK. Perfect

If you look you will see that is V3 update added to the downloads afer this thread.
