# Changed the title of the thread from Indian sky.

Some more Asian free to air channels, the most commonly viewed in the UK are on the Astra 2/Eurobird 1 at 28.2 East and Hotbird at 13 East satellites.

Hi Chris, did you have any luck with these Indian channels? I would like to know as I also want a similar setup installed. Thanks.

Theres no reason why he shouldnt have got them - they are all transmitted at high power and are an easy catch in the UK even with quite modest equipment.

Thanks so much for your quick reply Analoguesat. As I'm a total newbie to this I asked the question. The other (and the more important) question that I have is, if they are encrypted how and where do I get (buy) a card to view these channels. I've found shops selling Polish cards and such but what about Asian channels which aren't FTA. Thanks.
