You can watch Sky News with a DB wherever it appears in Euro bouquets but the DB will never be able to unlock Sky UK and it has been a couple of months since it did Sky Italia and who knows if it will unlock it again.
You can find most of the information you need in the stickies at the top of this section "DreamBox and Software information". And it is worth reading all the threads through to the end.
The DB is a satellite receiver and it does not have a cable tuner. So the LNB socket needs IF I/P from a dish.
