Inserting the boxkey into NewCS is different to the way its inserted into CCcam.

i keep reading about this and im not sure what this means

i know where too insert the boxkey on the config on a 500s but where is the NewCS? im useing pli 3 and 2.14

any help and advice would be greatfull thanks

newcs.xml is in /var/tuxbox/config.

hi thanks for that yes i found it, i just was not sure if the boxkey had too go in twice ie: for var/ect then edit config then put box key on, then do the same in var/tuxbox config as i have just checked it and was not sure where the other part of the box key goes

It seems you are a little confused here. You can choose to host your card with either NewCS or CCcam. You do not need to enter the box key in both, only one of them.
Since CCcam 2.1.3 reads the new sly uk card directly, most people now do not use NewCS at all.
