My Satellite Setup
80cm motorised Inverto dish with Dark Motor full metal gears, Xtrend 9500HD, Amiko Alien 2+, Amiko Alien 8900, Moded Zone 2 dish with multi LNB goodness! 50 inch full HD LCD and loads of other stuff! lol
My Location
Glasgow,ish!
In my spare time I intall dishes etc, this was for a customer who wanted to ditch the T.V. side of his current cable deal but still have a feed from Hotbird which he uses for sport. To save a bit of money I was happy to use his redundant Zone 2 dish mount (I have the same L tube & it has seen +70 mph winds on more than one ocassion I can tell you:-righton), The supplied kit is: a ISS 80cm perforated dish, Metronic 28 Degree two piece multi LNB bracket, 2 Inverto Black Ultra LNB's feeding a SMART 0.3dB (Claimed I know!) four input DiSEqC switch.

nice setup, but a question ? why 13 east ??

Why 13east ?

I think it's for jsc sports for the Scottish premier league.

I suspect all those diseqc switches are made in the same factory in China!

If needed it is possible to make the ISS mount more rigid by using a long bolt that goes all the way through, with washers and two extra nuts on the inside. It worked quite well when I tried it.

A more fiddly way is to use a metal tube cut to the internal width of the mount.

Hi,

I want to do this exact set up in Aberdeen for 13 e and 28 e.

I think my dish meeasures about 55 cm from top to bottom, and about 80 cms wide. (its a standard sky zone 2 dish).

Can you please tell me how did you install the bracket, and from where I can buy it? (may be from you directly, if the forum allows to sell)

I will be very happy, if you can please give lot of details. I shall treat you with an Aberdeen buttery then.

Ta

If your wanting 13E & 28E that far up north with a Zone 2 (Which is about 70-71 cm wide actually) you may well struggle with the weaker Eurobird transponders at 28E, have you tried having a look see at 13E to see how strong the weaker stuff is on there, NHK World on 13E is a good medium one to check out mate.
