My Satellite Setup
Technomate 3150 and 5200D with standard 60cm dish and Sky quad LNB.
My Location
Dublin, Ireland
Horrrayyyy
Installed dish and both boxes over weekend. :)
Installation easy enough, but they do not make things simple when it comes to set-up. :-rofl2
Got two Technomate receivers, a 3150 and 5200 (don't ask!!). However everything SEEMS to be working fine, but one problem, no channle4.
Shows up on list but no pic or sound. Is it possible to tune in ONE station without upsetting everything. Have not done a manual tune, but stuck with the preinstalled channels.
Also, I did do a radio station scan on the 3150 but cannot get it to show correct satellite on play. scanned Astra 28.2 but when I try to play a station it shows some other one on bottom of screen. How can I change it?
Thanks to all for help and patience with a newbie.
Cheers ;)
Tony.

Hi,
There are various channel 4's perhaps you have picked an encrypted one.

You need one that is Free To Air like the ones on 10714H 22000 5/6.

Go to Advance search, choose that transponder, TURN OFF Network Search, and do a scan and exit. Then look at the bottom of your 28E channel list, the channel 4's might be there. Or alternatively, press the OK, button, then the yellow, to sort channels by TP, you can then find the transponder and find the channel 4's.

To get the right satellite, press the SAT button on the remote and choose 28E, then press the TV/radio button to see aeither the radio or TV channels from just that sat.

Thanks for quick reply Robbo.
I did as you suggested and my channel 4 is 10.729v 22000
There is no listing of 10714H 22000 5/6 as you suggested.
I will try the scan tomorrow.

Lyngsat doesn't list a channel 4 on 10729, so most probably there isn't one there, and why you can't get a picture or sound.

Sounds like that box was populated before the shuffle around on 2D leading to Freesat launch in May 2008!
