im using SSD in my Ultiomo 4K, same SSD for 4-5 years now. Compared to mechanic one, as you already know it is much faster and it saves timeshifts much faster, can record couple of channels simultaneously without any problem. I know that wearing out is an issue on SSDs but mine works flawless and i haven't noticed anything yet

Modern ssds are at least as reliable as spinner drives.
