Installing Motorised System

Hi, I have tried to fit my motorised system without much luck, i have followed instructions and cannot get it to work correctly, I can pick up hotbird fine, I was told that if i put my longitude and latitude in via installation/antenna/motor/usals (under hotbird) then the dish will move then i should manually put it to hotbird and it should pick up all the rest, problem is when i go back into the longitude/latitude settings they have reset back to 0.0 even though i have stored them, does this sound like the receiver is faulty as its a brand new Digital 4100 2-CI (Frontier DV-928, Yamatu MX-700, Nextvision 5000).

Any Help would be much appreciated.

Whereabouts are you Peter? Doesn't sound like you've been given correct information, unless you are at 13 degrees East longitude.
