Hello,

Does anyone know of an image/plugin that gives you the instant rewind like sky+? That is, it automatically does a timeshift when you change channels.

It's the one thing I miss about the buzzing, creaking, beige box of c***!

Is there some technical reason no-one has done this? Seems pretty straightforward thing to do seeing there's already a timeshift feature. It'd be popular wouldn't it?

This is available in OpenPli and DreamElite, but is disabled by default. You have to download the plugin for OpenPli and on DreamElite you have to enable 'Permanent Timeshift' (plugin already installed). You can then set up how much you want to be able to rewind live TV. Be aware that this means your disk will be active all the time while you have permanent timeshift enabled. This could cause heat problems on the DM600 and DM800 if the hard disk is mounted internally.
