intelsat 20 comming testing signal

Intelsat 20 was successfully launched 2 August 2012 by Arianespace. The north and south solar arrays have been deployed and spacecraft health is operating nominally. The spacecraft is currently in route to its in-orbit testing location. The first 3 out of 4 Apogee Maneuver Firings have been successfully completed. Bus testing will commence 12 August 2012, followed by Payload testing a few days later.
 
All apogee maneuvers have been completed and the satellite is at its test location in geostationary orbit. The two west Ku-band reflectors were successfully deployed this morning. The next scheduled activity is the deployment of the East Ku-band reflectors.
 
I'm little bit curious to see if Intelsat 20 has stronger signal than Intelsat 10 , I wish much stronger .
 
We are waiting for it in the islands. We were in out of footprint with IS10. Any news of SES-5?
 
..Yeah ..be nice if the footprint covers the UK ...at least at fringe level ..
Had the TBS card looking for thode 2 C band test carriers 3820 and 4140 R ..
Not even a sniff so far...and positioning the dish roughly at this location ...the overspill from Rascom will be unavoidable ...its simply too close physically ..
..seperation requires at least 3 degrees of shift in C band.
Any footprint links known to exist for this new bird ?

Nope ..false alarm ...the above is 10 east ..
I strayed too far with the Vbox..

Thanks for the 'maps' CJ ...
I can only assume the currently active (flysat) transponders are currently either ...off ....or are aimed further east ..
Currently got the dish parked at 825 vbox clicks ..
10 east is 770
3 east is 856
1 west is 906
which by my reconing should place 5 east around the 820 - 830 mark..
As expected at this position I still see traces of the the stronger Rascom transponders..but nothing at all at 3820 or 4140 R...not even a hint of a 'hump' in the scan at these locations.

maybe tomorrow ??
I'll keep checking.

I don't think he can see that far east. Although he has considered demolishing his dwelling in order to do so....

CJ is quite right ...
Maximum I can get to is 62 east with partial dish illumination in Cband ..and inermittent reception of 66 East in ku ...made possible due to the extra height of the TD88..
Further East than this is physically impossible due to houses and height above sea level at my location.
Shouldn't complain though more or less got ku coverage 66 east to 60 west ..and Cband coverage from 58west to 62east with a dead spot around 50 east..a few degrees wide.

No modulation of course ..but what looks to be a definate hump in the trace 3966R..not there in Left circular ..so maybe ??

99.99 percent sure of this one ..
Its clean and very precise..
4186 Left circular unmodulated ...and wasn't there an hour ago
