By the way, you listed as suspected 10E east and 3E signals - is that how wide the beamwidth is on that dish? Thought it would be quite tight....

Far from perfect CJ ..
The signal listed as 10 east is very small indeed ...but I stress I only suspect its 10 East..
The signal listed as from 3 East is actually lockable and confirmed to be 3 East ..so yes ..in this case it is definately seeing at least 2 degrees to the west..
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that C band signals are wide spread ..covering approx 5 degrees of arc.
Not just since the wings were added..
I'd noticed this back in the days when Christina was just a 1.8
it often taking between 40 and 50 vbox clicks to completely 'lose' a channel
( 20 clicks each side of centre) ...though lock dissappeared more rapidly
Compare this to ku on the same dish where it takes only 3 to 4 clicks east or west of centre to lose the signal.
C band is a strange beast ...an the bigger the dish ..the tighter the beam..
which just one of the reasons BUDs perform best.

I did comment recently that 5 east was too close to 3 East for 'clean' testing in C band..
I still hold to this.

Hello,
The first testing signal from 63.15E position received. This is Intelsat-20 Europe/Africa beam, so must be strong enough in Europe. The carrier on 12510V periodically switches on and off.
P.S. All other peaks on the spectrum are from IS-902 (62E).

At this moment 12510 V test carrier is active again, so you can check it in Europe.

Zazai, this thread is about the new satellite, not the old.

Nothing more received from 63.15°E position, and today Intelsat-20 started moving East 0.4°/day:
__http://www.intelsat.com/isdocs/ephemeris/i_ior_c_68.50_IS-20_20120830_000000.txt
Seems the testing has completed. Estimated that IS-20 will arrive to its final location 68.5°E at September 13.
