Intelsat 33e left 59.55°E, now 59.85°, moving towards 60°E. Still with test signals 12102 V and 12172 V.

First TPs , verticals are pretty weak.o_O

any one have the actual footprints ?

The ku beam, shown on intelsat's site, shows cluttered eurasian n spot beams... its unclear, which places are covered.

In my area the signal on Vert. pol is not weak. It remained at the same level as before, meaning strong.Only 11503 V is really very weak.
On 10960 H we have a test carrier.

Edited:Sorry, trps. with strong signal on vertical are on Intelsat 904!

I can get very strong signal from 11490 H 3700 and 11.498 H 7270. Vertical signals 11.503 V 3330 (without freezing) and 11.521 V 3700 (freezing) are very weak from the North-east of Turkey. The former two and the latter two may be on different beams.

Makes much sense!
Spot 34 (South European Russia): 11490 H = Krasnodar (Kuban24), 11498 H = Armenia
Spot 40 (North European Russia): 11503 V = St.Petersburg (L!fe78), 11521 V = Kaluga (Nika TV).

Very surprisingly I'm getting a signal from 11498, 1.2 dish its very weak well below lock but encouraging to try a bigger dish here, I get nothing on the V transponders.

For mode 8PSK 9/10 , you need 11db, in your case it is ca 4m dish...

I cant understand why I cant see 11490 H 3/4 fec can we be sure 11490 and 11498 is on the same beam ?

Intelsat 33e (60°E), freq. 11,077 GHz, pol. V, SR 8332, FEC 5/6, DVB-S2/8PSK, FTA
Bulgaria start

Thread closed as both birds are now in service. I'll try & tidy it up a bit over the next few days to split posts off into the appropriate reception threads
