Managed to lock ZBC for the first time _ever_ ..sadly encrypted BISS
..and RTS1 Senegal ..clear..
Sadly cannot lock the Ghana mux 4026R ..even though I'm pulling in 6db (not enough)
But maybe TOD so will keep trying..
Clear crisp nights are great for DXing in C band..

Some judicious tweaking and I now have the Ghana mux averaging 6.5db ..with occasional bursts to 7.2 db ..
Still not enough ..?
I'm guessing I need over 8db..which I'm not going to get without a miracle..
Still ..I live in hope.

Did you manage to lock anything since the recent power up Costa ?
 
Nothing at all VS. About a year ago there were a couple of African channels but nada for a while now. If I'm not mistaken there aren't any active tp for NA.
 
Anything worth catching on this satellite? I only managed to lock a data transponder on 3808R at a measly 3.5dB...
 
During last weeks i´ve been getting 100% sure signal from 4010R 6730 (listed as TPA Angola 1/2). No chance to lock it so far but you should try it also, because so often it is "almost" ok here.

signal level much like the Ghana mux ..
approx. 3.5db ..and way insufficient..
The only things loclable atm are the Racing Channel ...and ZBC..
Can't even lock Ebony life any more ..

Alright, good to hear that you also get some life on 4010R. Only thinking because not any mention about that freq. earlier. But we´ll see it will lock someday however?!?
These c-band frequencies living its strange own life sometimes. For instance 68.5E 4090H been suddenly very strong and not a hint earlier from this freq. By the way there are huuuuuge count of news channels in India (66E, 68.5E, 83E). Absolutely world record of how many news channels from 1 country.
