Intelsat New Dawn is a joint partnership satellite. The main mission will be to cover the African continent, although there will be some C-band overspill into Europe which could be interesting for the lads with C-band dishes.
She will have Ku- and C-band payloads. I-ND will be launched in late 2010 and is expected to go into service in early 2011. She will operate from 33E.
