Internal HDD and USB HDD

My Satellite Setup
Dreambox dm800pro & Windows 7
My Location
Merseyside,UK
Hi

On my Dreambox 800HD can you use the internal HDD to record/Playback and then switch to the USB external HDD to also record/Playback?

The reason is I want to split Movies from TV recorded progs .

I think you could do it, but it would be a total nightmare, you would have to keep changing the recording paths to the different drives, it would be more bother than it's worth.
