Is it ever possible to private individuals to tune and receive through their dish antenna FTA TV channels of any transponder of any Satellite now stationed in the orbit (I understand it is over 500-1000 satellites) if and when one Satellite is bought by the owners of another satellite i.e. Hotbird linked with Insat or LyngSat?

Not sure I fully understand the question, but here goes. There may be over 500 satellites, but they are spread around the world, so that in Europe the curvature of the earth stops us from 'seeing' satellites located above Asia or the US. Each satellite location has one or more satellites beaming programs down. To receive those programs you need a dish precisely focussed on that location so, let's say your dish is aimed at Hotbird at 13E, you'd have to physically move the dish to receive programs from Astra1 at 19E. Does that help at all?
