New Raspberry Pi 3 B+ On it's way!

Looks great, finally going to have a proper ethernet port with PoE!! And dual band WiFi.
Can't wait to order one.

Yes, saw the article... Assumed it wasn't for sale yet, saw it for sale, bought.
 
From what I have read it’s they have overclocked the cpu to 1.4ghz.

Ok the lan is slightly faster, still don’t think I will rush to buy yet another pi (having purchased two in the last week)

Is the P.o.e. Now built in or do you still have to use the separate hat (sold separately)

Hat, I thought it was built in but it passes through the 48v on to a pin header.

I bought every model :-wow:-rofl2
 
Rumours so far if you’re after this to run retropie then you’re going to be disappointed.

My order wouldn't go through, site kept timing out so don't have one coming.
Will get one again.

Whats the issue with Retropie?

Apparently it doesn’t run it at all according to the Facebook comments.

I don’t see it as a major issue, I guess it would get updated (retropie) eventually if not you can still use the Pi 3.

I need to install it again on my Pi 3, thanks for reminding me.
Yeah this happened when the Pi 2 was out and everyone bought the Pi 3, will be updated soon.
