Intruder blocking

I recently get 100's of intrusion alerts on my attack log on gbox,
all from the same ip-adress, anybody know if it's possible to block this
ip adress either from the router or in the dreambox.
The problem is that i can't close the port, and the firewall on my pc
would not stop it since the db is connected directly via the router?

anybody know a solution to this problem, maybe a software i could install on pc or db to control the incoming connections that comes trough the router?

Hope somebody can help.

Happy new Year to everybody !

If your router has a firewall, then you should be able to block any single or group of IPs simply by making a rule to block it/them.

Well surely if it is showing in your intrusion alerts then it is already being blocked...... What port is it using and what IP address is it?

I've already checked the firewall settings in my router,
and i can't find any settings to block single or groups of ip's there.
Only filter outgoing connections, like block a specific comp on the network
from using internet at specific times of day, ect

I'm using port 1660 for my gbox, the intruding ip is
212.110.x.x.x

I guessed that's already blocked to since i get the intrusion alerts,
but would i know if it's not?
