i want to buy an invacom c120 with 4 outputs for a m8 of mine in spain as he's in a low signal area can anyone tell me is there much differance between these 2 models?
Global Invacom 0.3dB C120 Quattro Flanged Universal LNB
Global Invacom 0.3dB C120 Quad Flanged Universal LNB

A big difference:
Quad LNB's have 4 separate outputs, so you can run 4 receivers, or 2 receivers with dual tuners, quatro is completely different, each output corresponds to vertical lo band, vertical hi band, horizontal lo band and horizontal hi band, find out what he wants the LNB for, i.e. what kind of system he's planning to run, most people just require the quad LNB.

A big difference in functionality, but I don't know about sensitivity.

Quatro LNBs are designed for specialist distribution systems, usually for a block of flats where more than 4 receivers are required. Each output only gives out one fixed polarity and band.

Quad LNBs are designed to be plugged directly into a satellite receiver and each output can independently select different band and polarities. This is what most people use.
