Inverto Black Lnb

It's running on a cable of about 100'(30m) directly to the f15; I will wait for a better day to give it a proper test.

my questen if build new feed 06mm signal will be better lo band or high band

Solly, Black Pro is a different Lnb made for prime focus dishes. Black premium is only for offset unless you modify it.

Does it really matter what is sticker's color?
Of course it doesn't matter what colour the sticker is, but it does matter what the performance is. It just that the black and white sticker shows it is a late model IBU, and in my side by side tests against the red sticker model SNR was worse. Test was Single at 2F UK spot frequencies.

I've found 2 IBUs available in stock, will do some tests soon and post them here for reviews. However, it might happen that 2 different LNBs with same colored label can show different results. Will use 1,8m Prodelin as testing bench and DM8k as measuring device.

''However, it might happen that 2 different LNBs with same colored label can show different results.''
They will certainly do. They won't offer the same Frequency response across the whole spectrum. Manufacturing discrepancies being one of the reasons.

Will get around to do further testing but watching the Dutch and Argentina playing in the World Cup semi-final.

Finally found the time and a clear day to test the 3 out and make a final decision. The black inverto ultra beats both the invacom and amiko on every satellite except Galaxy 17 where its db level is 2.0 less then the other 2. The inverto was better on all other sats and will become my permanent ku feed:

Costactc, Seeing that your LNB is about half way in it's holder.....I found out that the further back it is the better, at least on my Gibbys 1.2 & 1.5 dishes.

Costa... How is that dish attached to the roof?

I have my main pole which holds the dish bolted into the roof right at the corner joint where a wooden beam for the roof is and 2 bag legs for further support. I have tried several positions for the lnb and where I have it gives me the best results but I will still be doing some extra skewing with my receiver outside this weekend. This dish will be replaced at the end of this year or in Spring next year with a Geosat 1.2.

I managed to get about .5 db increase by placing it slightly further back but not all the way as it decreased.

If it's a 1 M dish yes that will just about.

Actually a 1.2m fortec which has seen its better days and to be replaced with a geosat 1.2.

Have you tested them yet?

Hardware is still not fully ready to do tests and also laptop crashing to blue screen and works only in safe mode, so can not open excel files. Other priorities exist as well. I maybe need 7-10 days to get reception results.

Did some tests today. Found almost no difference in performance of Red and White labeled IBUs. Results are posted here

Nice dish. You don't see those here in my parts...isn't that gregorian with the extra reflector?
