A control centre, running on Enigma2, for IP security cameras has been added to OpenPli website.
It allows viewing and control of IP based security cameras that use HTTP and HTTP basic security, like Foscam and Marmitek Robocam IP21.
The security camera can be viewed Picture-in-Picture while watching normal TV. It supports pan/tilt/zoom and resize and position of PIP.
Multiple cameras of the same or different manufacturers is supported at the same time.
Cameras can be viewed PIP (auto switching between caneras) or 4 cameras full screen.
Recording is supported to hard disk.
The camera has to support a snapshot interface that renders a JPG image. This is used to allow the STB to control the rate at which images are recieved so it does not get overrun. The JPG images are decoded in software, allowing PIP on STBs with single decoders, like DM800, DM500HD and VU+DUO.
