Is it possible? DM800HD for 3DTV

Hi all

Please tell me your consent for the following.

Does DM800HD support 3D TV?. I mean if the TV itself supports 3dtv and if the satellite beam is on 3d, is it possible to view the 3d content on tv through dreambox in both FTA mode and descrambled mode?

Please advise.

You missed an important piece of information out, which satellite transmission are you trying to view in 3D?

This field is so much in its infancy I doubt anyone will have a definitive answer but we still need to know which transmissions you are referring to

Yet, Not for a definite sat beam, I'm asking this in general as whether it is possible?
 
It would have thought it will - my second hand generic HD box shows the fta 3D split screen channels ok. I cant view them in 3D as I dont have any 3D kit but I can see the split screen on my normal tv :D

'In general', any 3D transmission can be received by any receiver, and an HD incoming signal is receivable by almost any HD receiver. There is currently no governing standard of a 3D broadcast in either standard owing to the 3D capability and effectiveness being down to the display equipment used at the site (the of course the access rights to those transmissions).
