Is it possible to intercept S.I.S horseracing channel

S.I.S. is the broadcast that bookmakers have to show live horseracing. It is not available to home users. I was wondering what equipment you'd need to receive this broadcast and has anyone done it.
I'm a newbee here so I'm not sure if this thread is in the right specific forum. Thanks.

Search this site for 'SIS Racing' and you will find this subject has been discussed ad infinitum.

Either: Find a satellite that transmits the raw feed from the racecourse(s). Maybe 20W, MPEG4:2:2 (haven't checked recently)

Or: Ask SIS for a subscription to their bookmaker's service (expensive)

Of course you have, we get the same questions about this every 6mts or so. Someone knows how to get it for free but wont say, or never comes back to tell.But the short and curleys are you will just have to fork out thousands...yes thousands to get your box and card and subscription up and running.

Cant remember the exact figures but you are looking at somewhere between 6 & 8 thousand quid to get a home SIS equipment and subscription up and running

thanks for the posts guys. I am upto speed on sis subscription and the feeds etc. I am more interested in the posts from the people who claim to have the codes for the encrypted feeds. Personally I dont think its possible but if anybody knows any different I would love to "discuss" it and am happy to reimburse you for your time and trouble.

Dont hold your breathe - there no codes for SIS feeds as far as I know.

Pay up or do without ;)

i'm happy to pay for the codes rather than an sis subscription. trust me there are codes in biss and some people have them but have had to pay decent amounts for them

Can you ask your 'some people' and let us know definitively.
Get back with a yes or no and then we can look at this.

There are free programs on the net to look at these codes if they are.

All the mods get loads of messages every month and a good proportion are to do with bloody SIS and the gee gees.

"Please tell me how to get the feeds as I want to watch the gee gees at home "

Aye right - what they actually mean is "I want to make a quick buck on in run betting & a steal a few tenths of a seconds advantage over lesser mortals."

Ive had numerous contacts by pm & email over the years - with offers of money if the info is useful. - Ive never received a penny from anyone yet - its amazing how their memory slips once they have some info

i'm not looking for information about how it works, i know all that stuff. I can get the feeds when they are not encrypted, i know how much sis is and would get it but it doesnt show all the meetings. And yes I do want to use it for in running betting, mainly to givemyself a chance against people who already have the feeds. If you or anybody else can genuinely help I'm sure you wont be dissapointed. I dont want to waste anybodys time and dont expect mine to be wasted either. I've been very honest from my first posting, and expect the same from others.
