I have a Metronic Touchbox3 receiver and dish but no longer have a TV. Is it possible to connect the output from the receiver to my PC and use the monitor instead of buying another TV? Or does it mean buying some new gizmo for the PC to act as an interface? If I wait long enough someone will give me another telly (I'm skint) but I would rather watch on my PC to save space in my bedsit. My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place.

The video output from sat boxes is not usually compatible with computer monitors. Maybe the cheapest way to do it is to use a USB TV stick, or a TV card for your PC, assuming that your box has a TV (UHF) out of course.

Or a usb video input adapter, check ebay, very cheap.

And then you have to look into the audio.

Thanks for the info gentlemen.........I have just ordered a satellite input adaptor that should do the trick. Ebay,£18.
