Saw something on the Maplin website, the store can't order it in for me.
Obviously they are going in to Administration. But there is a PayPal option, I'm wondering would that be safe?

I wouldnt if its anything pricey. No sale of the business has been agreed and the administrators are on the point of closing it down completely.

Yeah makes sense, only talking £30 but don't want to lose it. Wonder if PayPal buy protection covers you, or would they say you knew it was going in to administration. Hmmm.

Its long past the position of going into administration

Jobs have been cut today & its almost at the point of being closed down. Chances are a lot of the stock isnt available any more anyway - when their credit insurance lines got cut a few weeks ago deliveries would have been reduced drastically as the money ran out..

Sad state of affairs, a lot of people going to be out of work.

Bump the order beyond £100 and you get credit card protection, I think.

Be wary about PayPal protection with anything other than eBay, there's a lot of get out clauses with them, not the same as section 75 of the consumer credit act that's for certain mate.
