Would anyone know if my receiver is dead or can it be made to work again.

I tried to change channel this afternoon with the remote, wouldn't work. I changed batteries, still wouldn't work, none of the buttons. Couldn't change the channels with the box buttons either. Couldn't even switch it off with the button on the front.

I forgot there was a rocker switch on the rear panel and pulled the cable out to cut the power. When I put it back in display showed 9999 but nothing would work. I've tried switching off and back on a few times with the rocker switch but nothing, the display has shown 8 8, or 888 since but no function at all and certainly no picture.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Glad it sorted itself out. :) I guess all the Technomate owning members are watching the films on Premiere. :)
