Is there any point in getting a motorised system if you only want English programming

I know I kind of asked this earlier but how much difference will a 1M dish over a 80 CM dish? I know they say 'the bigger, the better' but will it mean I can get more channels (prefferably in english)?

Would a 90CM dish be a good compromise (I here this is the max you can get without planning permission)?

If you're on the edge of sonething then a 1M will make a difference over a 90

Planning laws changed this year to allow a 1mtr dish without permission :)
