This warplane circled over the area this evening, is it a Harrier?

It is a Tornado GR1, with xtra fuel tanks by the looks of it.
Could be Isreali a bit lost or more probably based in Wiltshire.

Very strange to see one in the sky over our way, particularly as it made 3 passes, we do have the AWE Aldermaston and Royal Ordnance Factory nearby (no fly zones I believe), so perhaps one was scrambled due to someone flying too close.

Loved the Mk 2 Escorts, they were a great little car, remember having a banana coloured one with a vinyl roof, thought it was the dog's. :)

No, the motor intakes are much further forward on the Harrier. :)
