Is viasat reachable in west ireland

I'm starting to think I won't get it at all
 
Dont give up yet! Big dishes need fettling by someone with experience of installing big dishes. You have done well to get as far as finding the 5E Euro beam.

Just a thought and maybe a bit late in the day. Would it be easier to fine tune the dish on a medium strength signal instead of a really strong one like 12073. I get 17 dB on 12073 on my F15 receiver as against 10.2 dB on 12693. Maybe you have tried this already.

is on the FSS beam which is mid way strength between the Europe BSS beam and the Nordic beam
 
And dont forget that the lnb positioning is critical, both for skew (twist) and the in/out position in the holder.
 
Do mean try and tweak a weaker tp on the euro beam
 
To try achieve a Nordic beam signal
 
Yes I know you are desperate for the Nordic beam (presumably for the football?) However go for this one first - its about half the strength of the European beam. Once you are optimised for the FSS beam you stand a better chance of the Nordic stuff.
 
Right I'm only getting 9.30db on my triax110 dm800hd black ultra lnb, so what does that say about the channel master then, so if I can in the 90,s with that tp in the master your saying I have a good chance of getting the Nordic

But your motorized dish was never fine tuned to get more out of each sat.
Whatever your getting on 4.8 east you should be getting a bit more.
 
What % are you getting on The english club on 12073/27500/h snr-97% agc-96%
Just to see the difference from my 1m gibertini and your 1.1 triax.
 
Right I tweaked that. Channel to 91% on channel master and still nothing on 11747
 
I'm getting 99%agc and 96%snr on that channel John

That tends to be one of the stronger Nordic beam freqs here. It has a couple of free channels on it including Russia Today
 
Okay well I'm going to have to leave it until 2moro as I'm using a tv and technomate box to try do this, lol, couldn't be arsed setting everything up again
 
u should check that there are no dints or bends anywhere on the dish face and if possible try another inverto black ultra single im surprised u dont recieve 11747v if a 1.1 here can get it.
 
This is a brand spanking new channel master dish, something's not right
