It seems ITV HD have started full-time testing, after Law & Order tonight, ITV HD was left on showing upscaled ITV1 programmes from the London region. During the local London news, a banner explained that you need to switch to ITV1 for local programmes.
The upscaled picture is far better than that on the standard SD ITV1 channels. Averaging at around 11,000kbits/s 1440x1088 25 fps MP4 sound.
The image below was taken from the News at Ten. Nightwatch is now showing as I post.
11426 H 28.5E (same as previous position although there are reports that 2 new HD places have appeared today).
