itv HD problems red button

freesat hd humax foxsat HDR
My Location
doncaster u.k
just sat down to wach Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, but the HD red button is not working, nothings coming up, has any one got this prob thank you
 
That will be because its not in HD - its not carrying the ITV1HD logo

then why dos the freesat site say it will be showing in HD today
 
It was probably published in good faith.

No idea why it didn't turn out that way: Simple mistake? Tech. problem? No idea.
 
As far as I know from what has been discussed on the DS forum ITV1 HD dont have the right to show films in HD - last weekend the films were replaced by a "programme not available" caption.
 
i see thanks for heads up, if itv hd can not show films then why the hell are they puting it up on the freesat site.
 
Cockup??? :D

The film is on the ITV1 HD stream, but presumably just upscaled.
