Good and correct info from my colleague Analoguesat.

Of course everyone in the Uk with a TV have had to contribute to the BBC's development of digital channels via the licence fee. Sky don't have that luxury so obviously need to charge for their services.

@Kxxx - As my admin colleagues point out I wasnt implying ITV was going any where on digital satellite.

So you dont believe my comments about a forthcoming ITV Shop?? Go and read this:

h**p://www.media247.co.uk/skydigital/newsarchive/2005/09/itv_plans_new_c.php

I would suggest this will launch onto ITV's excess capacity (2A capacity on 12422H.)

Now if you are going to continue bad mouthing a member of the forum staff then can I respectfully suggest you find another forum to frequent?

ITVi is a hidden stream to sky boxes, so no chance whatsoever.

ITV3 is fta on 10906 V 22000 5/6

and should be on epg 119 on a skybox

No more ITV1 - that was predictable. At present the opening credits of Coronation Street are looping

PS. I also think that you have misunderstood Analoguesat's main point, he is not saying that ITV is going to disappear, merely that it is unlikely to stay on that wide footprint transponder.

Well what do you know - I was right O-Ha - it disappeared this afternoon. O-Ha
And is now showing the looped Corrie titles mentioned by the previous poster O-Ha
