Hello,

can someone please help me to repair the sensor, as it was accidently connect to 36V?

Maybe someone get spareparts for it?

I will be thankful for any hint!
 
Hi @svenjatogge ! Welcome to the Forum. You can order reed switches from Aliexpress, E-bay, Amazon. They are widely available.

The SMO has optical sensor
 
Measure each of the components and see what they are reading. Assuming it's not the sensor itself, it should be fixable.

That resistor on the right doesn't look great.

(I will probably be getting rid of my sensor and replacing it with a magnetic one - far less hassle)

My bad, no reed switch there. It is optical. I have a bunch of optical sensors here, ordered them from PRC, they look exactly as yours. If you wish I can send you a couple. As CJ said the problem could not necessarily be in the optical sensor but elsewhere.

Thank you for your kind offer. I already ordered the parts, and will tell you if i succeeded.
First i will replace the transistors, then the optical sensor.
I checked the bad looking resistor, it measuered 90 Ohms, so i think it is ok.

Isn´t a optical sensor better than a magnetical one, because it is more exactly?

The optical components provide a voltage step that can be better interpreted by the counter at speed, but if the motor runs slow enough then the difference is minimal.

Optical (and Hall Effect) require a separate supply to power them (which makes accidental pushing 36 volts across any or the three wires a bit strange), whereas the reed switch design uses a small differential voltage across the sensor cable.
 
Building an optical sensor interface, is not very difficult...

I built one, using few tools. Engraving cutter (to engrave copper), mini drill, soldering station and other small electronics tools.

I modified a qarl 3624+ superjack actuator, with reed sensor and wheel with 4 magnets, to an optical sensor with a wheel with 8 slots. I doubled the pulses and got more stability.

The main problem I faced, was the lack of space to use a fork optical sensor, so I decided to use a common 3mm 940 IR diode and a SMD phototransistor (PT15-21C/TR8). I first tested the electrical circuit on a Breadboard and used a wheel with 10 slots, spun on a mini drill at about 19,000 rpm (maximum speed of my mini drill), with the help of the oscilloscope, I improved the values of the components until I got all the pulses correctly and limited consumption to a minimum. Using the GBox V3000 positioner (I had to make a modification to make it deliver the 5 Volts to power the sensor), the maximum consumption was less than 7mA.

Here's how I converted it to reed from optical. Very simple to replace the wheel and then attach the sensor.
