I have realised I am missing a section of steel pipe used to brace the underside of a 1224, which a threaded bolt goes through and uses this pipe as a shieth as well.
The said 1224 isn't in commission yet but wish to get one of these before I start.
I have done some measurements and the holes it needs to match are 12mm, and looks to be 106mm in length.

Anyone know if it's possible to get a ready made replacement? (very unlikely I know).
I have been looking on the famous auction site and can see the correct diameter but not length in stainless steel but it would have to be reduced in length from those supplied. Am I looking at the wrong supplier for my requirement? Stainless steel would appear difficult to cut? I don't have the tools.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You could cut a piece of studding to the correct length and cable tie it next to the bolt.

You can cut stainless steel with a hacksaw.
If you aint got one get over to Screwfix or Toolstation, they are cheap enough.

You might be surprised to find they have stainless steel bolts in stock as well.

@statalite Cutting stainless is not a big deal, an angle-grinder and simple cut-off disc do the job. Do you have a picture of the part you need? I might fabricate one for you.

I have since found a company local to me that will cut to size and pro rata price also.
Thank you for the offer.
I will report back if and when I commission this company.

I see, you've replaced all parts in INOX, good job! Did you put engine to work?
